Sherry cut her teeth on Nancy Drew mysteries, a love that
grew to include Agatha Christie, Martha Grimes, Dean
Koontz, James Patterson and Kelley Armstrong. Since
Sherry can’t get enough of Sue Grafton’s sassy Kinsey
Milhone, she’s hoping someone will extend the alphabet.
Though she lost count of how many times she read Are
You There God, It's Me, Margaret, in her early teens, it is
safe to say if the book wasn't on the shelf in the school
library, it was in Sherry's locker. Judy Blume's Summer
Sisters is her all-time favourite novel. Other authors on
her reading list: Kate Mosse, Michael Connelly, Marina
Endicott, Diana Gabaldon and Karin Slaughter.
With Brandon Pitts, author of The Watchtower, Sherry co-
hosts Prana Presents, monthly prose and poetry
readings at Prana Coffee Bar in Toronto.
